Please complete this volunteer application to become involved with the operations and events at the Tucker County Animal Shelter. Thank you for your help!
We need volunteers to feed, clean up after, and cuddle kittens housed at the Animal Advocacy Center operated by the Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter in Davis at 358 William Ave. The purpose of this off-site location is to temporarily house and adopt out more animals. We chose the Davis location to meet with more people "on the mountain" and need volunteers who are willing to help out. During the week, this is about a 30 minute per day time commitment. Our staff will show you how to clean, what to look out for, and how to care for the kittens, and you can spend unlimited amounts of time snuggling, reading with, or just being around these little guys. On the weekends, our goal is to have the AAC open for business. We have curated animal care items available for sale as a donation to the Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter, and education materials. Lots of the foot traffic we get during open hours are people who did not even know the shelter existed, and we want to meet them where they are. We have also been able to adopt out many of the AAC cats! If you can help, give us a call at 304 478 6232. Sign up now!
